Dopo la serie incredibile di cattiverie e gossip che ho letto sul web riguardo a ciò che è accaduto a Sinèad negli ultimi mesi, la musica del nuovo album rappresenta un riscatto perchè ricorda a tutte queste persone - inquietantemente ansiose di sparare giudizi negativi senza sapere nulla nè della carriera nè della persona, ci scommetto - che dovrebbero ascoltare le canzoni prima di parlare...
Mi dispiace ma difenderò sempre a spada tratta Sin dato che fa parte di un ristretto gruppo di gente costantemente in balia degli altri *LUPI* a causa della propria fragilità.
Ecco il video di The Wolf Is Getting Married, è piuttosto semplice trattandosi sempre di musica alternativa ma sintetizza bene il messaggio della canzone, un'ode all'amore che dona speranza, e credo quindi lo stato d'animo presente di Sinèad.
I "lupi" non sono solo quelli di cui parlavo all'inizio, ma anche i demoni personali in agguato famelici dentro di noi che aspettano solo un momento negativo per venire fuori ed attaccarci. Durante i periodi di crisi ci rendiamo conto di quanto siamo deboli, diveniamo più vulnerabili a quel che c'è intorno ma soprattutto perdiamo fiducia in noi stessi... il testo però è positivo e dice che grazie alle persone che ci amano possiamo riuscire a recuperare quella fiducia.
